Be Casual Yet Functional in Golf Clothing

When you head out onto the links you need to consider what you are going wear. You need your golf clothing to be functional as well as stylish. There are many styles to choose from. You need to choose what is right for you. Your golf clothing should reflect you own personality. You need to make choices in the areas of shirts, pants, and shoes.

Golf shoes serve an important role in properly playing the game. They come with spikes on the bottom so you do not slip when you are trying to make a shot on slippery grass. This is probably an item of golf clothing where you want to consult with your local pro shop. An expert at the pro shop can properly fit you. They can also tell you the range of prices and materials. Something made of leather is going to cost you more than a different material.

Golf pants also need to serve you in your game. Golf clothing should be comfortable yet functional. They need to move with you when you swing. They should not be so baggy as to get in the way of a swing or get stuck in the spikes of your golf shoes. Golf pants are where you can really show some of you own personality. You can even get knickers if you want. Golf pants do not need to be just khaki. They can be found in bright colors and plaids. Wear what you want for pants and add a shirt that goes along with it.

Golf shirts need to be comfortable and able to move with the swing. Most people wear a stereotypical style of color knit shirt. There are other choices. There certainly are tons of choices in colors. Women have a little more choice in casual sleeveless blouses. Whatever it is they still need to work with the swing and go with the pants.

Ladies also have the choice of wearing a skirt. It is usually a straight knit skirt that is around knee length. It must be able to not get in the way of the swing. It must also not be light enough to blow up in the wind. They cannot be too tight as to restrict movement. These too can be found in just about any color but white is traditional.

Golf clothing has its accent pieces as well. These too need to work with the golf game. Socks need to handle perspiration well and fit when worn with the golf shoes. Many golfers also wear hats or visors to prevent the sun from keeping them from seeing the ball.
